Common Questions
What is IV Drip Therapy: Health (NAD+)?
Health is our IV Drip Therapy that replenishes your body with NAD+ to support your body’s energy-making process.
As we age, our NAD+ levels begin to decline. Our NAD+ IV Drip Therapy replenishes your NAD+ supply to help boost cell function and improve cognitive function, metabolism, and overall physical health.
What is NAD+?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is an essential molecule your body uses to repair your DNA, regulate your cells’ metabolism, and control aging. Because it’s critical for the survival of your cells, NAD+ can have profound effects on your health and lifespan. Some of the important functions of NAD+ have only recently been discovered. Because of this, it has become the subject of many research studies, and supplements that claim to boost NAD+ levels are gaining popularity.
What does research say about IV NAD+ therapy?
There is a variety of evidence that suggests NAD+ supplementation has health benefits. This paper analyses several studies and reports benefits to skin inflammation, improvements to mood, and other positive effects.
Several studies have also linked NAD+ to longevity, showing that boosting NAD+ metabolism can extend the lifespan of organisms and help fight against disease.
Delivering NAD+ via IV enables us to reach the doses needed to realize the full benefits. With oral capsules, getting to these high doses is very difficult.
IV NAD+ is not currently FDA-approved to address any health condition. However, in our experience, patients report benefits to their well-being similar to those shown in studies. Also, the risks of this treatment are very low.
How should I prepare before my NAD+ IV drip appointment?
We ask that you eat before your appointment time. Some of the vitamins and minerals can cause nausea if infused on an empty stomach.
How often should I get this IV drip?
We recommend getting our Health (NAD+) IV Drip Therapy 3 times in 2 weeks, then getting it once a month after that.
Who is not a candidate for NAD+?
We do not recommend NAD+ for anyone pregnant or nursing. We also do not recommend this drip if you have heart, liver, or kidney disease, active cancer, or are currently undergoing chemotherapy.
What’s the difference between this and NAD+ injection?
An NAD+ IV drip involves infusing NAD+ directly into the bloodstream over several hours. This method allows for a higher dose of NAD+ to be administered.
NAD+ injections involve injecting NAD+ into a muscle or under the skin. This method is faster and less invasive than an IV drip, but may not result in as high of an increase in NAD+ levels.
