Feel your best at every age

Our bodies are always changing. But the way we take care of ourselves now has a huge impact on how we feel later on.

Select your age to learn:

In your thirties...

How you look

Skin

At this age, your skin’s repair system starts moving at a slower pace. Early signs of aging start to appear, along with sun damage from your 20s. You might notice fine lines and a loss of volume in cheeks, which can make under-eye shadows more visible.

Hair

If you notice thinning hair in your 30s, it’s not just you. Around this time, hair follicles weaken and start producing fewer strands. Each hair follicle typically holds a bundle of strands, but over the years, those bundles let go of more hair and cause an overall thinner appearance.

How you feel

Mental Clarity

If you’ve had a hard time remembering your new neighbor’s name or learning a new language, it could be your neurons. In your 30s, the number of neurons in your brain starts to decrease and form fewer connections, which can lead to difficulty with memorization.

Mood

You might think of testosterone as a male sex hormone, but it’s actually the most abundant hormone in the female body. Testosterone begins to steadily drop in your 30s, which can lead to a variety of symptoms, including mood swings, anxiety, and low libido.

What you might not notice

Muscles

Muscle mass, strength, and function begins to decline around this time as a natural part of the aging process. Beginning at age 30, you’ll start losing as much as 3% to 5% of muscle per decade.

Metabolism

Our hormones begin to shift in your 30s, which can play a role in metabolism, appetite, and ultimately, belly fat. The thyroid gland is responsible for producing hormones that control how your body turns food into energy. If your thyroid becomes less active around this time, this can lead to weight gain.

5 stars for my first visit! Enjoyed the website design and the option to book an appointment online. The service was excellent from start to finish. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The doctor was very thorough when explaining the botox process. She did a great job and the I love the results!! I will definitely be back in 3-4 months!

I had a great experience at Modern Age. Clinicians at other places can be curt and rush you through everything — that doesn’t happen at MA. They even had a special vibrating tool to help distract me from the Botox shots going in! This place exudes luxury and science. I will definitely be going back!!

I loved my experience at Modern Age! I got the NAD+ IV treatment and I felt incredible after. I had more energy, brighter skin, and mental clarity. Plus, the staff and studio space were bright, clean, and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back for my next treatment!

Such a delightful experience. The space is absolutely gorgeous and serene. My specialist made me feel completely comfortable throughout my first Botox treatment. I felt great when I walked out and am excited to come back for a hormone panel and future skin treatments.

I had a great experience here. I have tried places like this in the past that felt pushy but Modern Age was not. The clinical staff here were extremely knowledgeable and kind. The space itself was beautiful and relaxing. I had micro needling done and am thrilled with the results already. Highly recommend!
