I am in my 30s and have been dealing with aging for the past couple of years and have been going to a Med Spa in UES so I decided to check them out. She did a fabulous job on my cheek fillers and the different was night and day immediately after the treatment. Definitely returning here without a question.

Such a delightful experience. The space is absolutely gorgeous and serene. My specialist made me feel completely comfortable throughout my first Botox treatment. I felt great when I walked out and am excited to come back for a hormone panel and future skin treatments.

I had a great experience at Modern Age. Clinicians at other places can be curt and rush you through everything — that doesn’t happen at MA. They even had a special vibrating tool to help distract me from the Botox shots going in! This place exudes luxury and science. I will definitely be going back!!

I loved my experience at Modern Age! I got the NAD+ IV treatment and I felt incredible after. I had more energy, brighter skin, and mental clarity. Plus, the staff and studio space were bright, clean, and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back for my next treatment!

I had a great experience here. I have tried places like this in the past that felt pushy but Modern Age was not. The clinical staff here were extremely knowledgeable and kind. The space itself was beautiful and relaxing. I had micro needling done and am thrilled with the results already. Highly recommend!

Common Questions

How long will my appointment be?
Your appointment will last 90 minutes. During that time, you’ll get both Botox and your IV Drip treatment.
Can I schedule the treatments separately?
You must schedule your treatments at the same time to get the pricing and convenience of a pairing.
How will Energy IV Drip Therapy help me?
The combination of nutrients in our Energy IV Drip Therapy is formulated to improve stamina and brain function for the boost of energy you need.

You’ll get a high dose of Vitamin C, a potent antioxidant required to make serotonin and other neurotransmitters. It’s also important for supporting the immune system and preventing and treating a variety of diseases. Our bodies can’t produce Vitamin C on their own, so we need to rely on food and other external sources to get the benefits we need.

The drip also contains a healthy blend of B vitamins that are shown to speed up metabolism, improve mental clarity, improve physical energy and endurance, rejuvenate skin and nails, and reduce free radicals, which slows down the aging process.
How will Immunity IV Drip Therapy help me?
The key ingredients in our Immunity IV Drip are 500mg of Vitamin C and 30mg of Zinc.
Vitamin C plays a key role in supporting the immune system and preventing and treating disease. It also acts as a defense against harmful free radicals, neutralizing them before they have the chance to damage cells in your body. Our bodies can’t produce Vitamin C on their own, so we need to rely on food and other external sources to get the benefits we need.
Zinc ensures your white blood cells stay healthy and function properly, which helps your body fight off viruses.

What is Botox?
Botox is a brand name of the protein made by the bacterium clostridium botulinum. When injected into the skin, Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles, which allows the facial muscles to relax. This helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the face for a smoother look.

What brands of neuromodulators do you offer?
We offer two brands of neuromodulators: Botox and Xeomin. Both brands are shown to be very similar in efficacy. The main difference is that Xeomin does not contain any additive proteins that could potentially cause allergic reactions. If you’re not sure which brand is right for you, your Modern Age clinician can help.

How long do results last?
Results can last anywhere from 2 to 6 months. On average, they last between 3 and 4 months. The duration of your results depends on factors such as where the neuromodulator (or “wrinkle relaxer”) was injected, the dosage, and your body's own individual processes. Typically, results in the areas of your face that are thinner or that move most frequently will be the first to wear off, such as the corners of your eyes and lips. Results in the forehead and between the eyebrows typically last the longest.
Is it true that once you start getting Botox, you can’t stop?
No. How often you treat your wrinkles is completely up to you and your personal skin goals. When the wrinkle relaxers wear off, your face muscles will go back to making the same movement they did before, but your wrinkles won’t be any deeper than they were before treatment. In fact, your wrinkles will form more slowly than they would have otherwise.
If you want to keep seeing the effects consistently, we recommend coming in for another treatment after 3 months. But many people choose to let their results wear off completely and then come in for another treatment when ready.
Will it take time to recover?
After treatment, you should avoid lying down for 4 hours, and avoid exercising, drinking alcohol, and putting on makeup for 24 hours. You also shouldn’t get a facial for at least a week. Other than that, most people return to their everyday activities immediately.

What are the possible side effects?
Side effects tend to be mild and temporary. The injections, rather than the neuromodulator itself, cause most mild side effects. For example, a patient may occasionally bruise. If this happens, the bruising lasts about 1 week. After receiving injections, people have experienced swelling, redness, soreness, bruising, mild headache (uncommon), weakness in a neighboring muscle leading to a temporarily droopy brow or eyelid (rare), or signs and symptoms of botulism including problems breathing, swallowing, or speaking (very rare).

I'm pregnant or nursing. Can I be treated with Botox & Wrinkle Relaxers?
We recommend avoiding neuromodulator treatments during pregnancy and while nursing.
